August 14, 2025:
Vancouver Coastal Health has tested the water at Rainbow Park beach and the coliform levels have reduced enough to allow for swimming again.

July 29, 2025:
Vancouver Coastal Health has directed Rainbow Park beach to be closed due to high levels of coliform in the water. The rest of the park and facilities are open. The closure will remain until follow-up water samples confirm the water quality meets Vancouver Coastal Health standards.
