The RMOW is inviting qualified teams to provide design-build proposals for two new clear span bridges to replace the existing recreation trail bridges located over North Sproat Ck. (A-Frame) and Gin and Tonic Creek (Suspension). These bridges are a key part of the Rainbow hiking Trail in Whistler BC, see location map in Section 9. Both existing bridges are at or near end of life and require removal and replacement with new long lasting and low maintenance, free span bridges.

Proponents are encouraged to align their designs with the areas recreational use and natural site characteristics while ensuring the efficiency of construction is well understood and managed within the constraints of the topography and access.
