Amendment #1 – Additional Information Requested
In addition to the specifications in the below bid document, bidders should provide the following information:
- Can you provide the flooring specifications or manufacturer/product information for the existing rubber flooring? – We do not have the flooring product information.
- Is there a preferred manufacturer or approved list of flooring products, or are equivalent products acceptable? – Equivalent products are acceptable
- Will the existing adhesive need to be completely removed, or is it acceptable to install over any existing adhesive if the substrate is suitable? – Yes, all existing adhesive needs to be completely removed.
- Is a site visit available prior to submitting the quotation? – Site visits are available. When you arrive at Meadow Park, ask the front desk to contact Greg or John in maintenance.
- Could you please provide recent photos of the existing hallway flooring, change room thresholds, transitions, and any areas that require special attention? – Photos are not available but you are welcome to come by Meadow Park for a site visit.
The RMOW is seeking qualified Bidders to replace flooring in the Meadow Park Sports Centre (MPSC) arena hallway
from door to door including the thresholds of the changeroom doors. The Work is to be completed during the MPSC
shutdown from August 31, 2026, until September 4, 2026.
Approximate dimensions of the MPSC arena hallway, including thresholds of the changeroom doors, are 49.124 m x
2.0 m.
The Successful Supplier will remove the existing flooring in the arena hallway and dispose of it in an environmentally
safe and appropriate manner. Specifically, the Proponent will recycle materials where possible.
The Successful Supplier will also be responsible for supplying new, durable, good quality rubber flooring in the MPSC
arena hallway. The new rubber flooring must be a similar or the same colour as the existing flooring and must be 10
mm thick.
