Please note: The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) does not attend to or repair damages on private property.
If you believe your property has been damaged as a result of Resort Municipality of Whistler operations or maintenance work, first contact your insurance provider who may be able to assist you with your damages. Your insurer may choose to submit a subrogated claim to the RMOW seeking compensation for their expenses, including any deductibles.
As a reminder, property owners are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of parcel-level water and sewer piping located within their property boundaries. This includes having a working pressure reducing valve (PRV), as required by the BC Plumbing Code.
