Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations – purchase and installation rebates

Making the switch to an electric vehicle in Whistler just got easier!

The RMOW has partnered with the Province of British Columbia’s CleanBC Go Electric EV Charger Rebate Program to provide additional rebates for the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in single-family homes, multi-unit residential buildings and workplaces.

Existing homes & buildings – energy rebates

Clean BC Rebates

CleanBC Better Homes and CleanBC Better Buildings have rebates for residential, commercial, institutional, and multi urban residential buildings.

The RMOW is offering a $350 top-up to CleanBC Better Homes and Home Renovation Rebate Program participants who switch from a fossil fuel (oil, natural gas or propane) heating system to an electric air source heat pump.  For more information, click here.

Retrofit Assist: Residential Energy Assessment Rebate Program 

Are you interested in retrofitting your home to reduce monthly utility costs? Retrofit Assist provides free guidance on home energy upgrades including heat pumps, hot water systems, ventilation, windows and doors, insulation and solar panels.  

Whistler homeowners that apply to Retrofit Assist are eligible for a $250 Energy Assessment Rebate towards an Energuide for Homes home energy evaluation, the first step to understanding their energy use.
