Whistler’s New Year’s Eve Celebration schedule is designed to offer a diverse range of activities catering to various interests.

All-day Free Whistler Transit

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wintersphere

Welcome to a day of enchantment, laughter, and joy as we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. This indoor all-ages celebration promises an unforgettable day filled with a variety of activities catering to everyone, from the little ones to the young at heart.

Wintersphere NYE hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: Whistler Conference Centre, 4010 Whistler Way

Cost: Free!

7:45 p.m. New Year’s Eve Luminosity Parade

Dynamic performances by LED-clad dancers, stilt walkers, and jugglers add an electrifying energy to the procession. The rhythmic beats of accompanying music heighten the senses, creating a multisensory experience that transcends the traditional parade concept.

Parade route: Whistler Conference Centre to Skier’s Plaza on the Whistler Village Stroll.

Parade spectators: Join the crowd along the Village Stroll to catch the Luminosity parade and be sure to follow the excitement to Skier’s Plaza for the Fire & Ice show!

Parade time: Starts at 7:45 p.m. Please note that the parade’s duration may vary based on weather conditions and the number of participants.

Cost: Free to participate or spectate!

8:30 p.m. Fire & Ice Show

After the Luminosity Parade join us for an awe-inspiring display of pyrotechnics, music, live entertainment and world-class freestyle skiing and riding, including Whistler Blackcomb Snow School’s finest pros. The show will finish off with the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular.

Time: 8:30 to 9 p.m.

Location: Skiers Plaza, base of Whistler Mountain.

Cost: Free!

9 p.m. New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular

Cap off the day with a spectacular early-evening fireworks display, a dazzling show that paints the sky with vibrant colors and marks the beginning of the final countdown to midnight.

Time: 9 p.m.

Location: Skier’s Plaza, the base of Whistler Mountain

Cost: Free!

Spread the word; there are no midnight fireworks scheduled. Join us at 9 p.m.
