Meadow Park Sports Centre features two full-size squash courts to help you develop agility, increase strength and fitness, and build hand-eye coordination.

Court bookings available online!

Beginning February 26, Meadow Park Sports Centre passholders wishing to reserve a squash or basketball court will now be able to do so online.  Bookings can be made up to 72 hours in advance and are limited to players from the same household.  Passholders who need to gain access to their online account can do so by calling 604-935-PLAY (7529) during operating hours or by e-mailing recreation@whistler.ca.

Facilities and activities

  • Two full-sized squash courts. Only one court will be available per time slot to allow for adequate cleaning in-between bookings.
  • One court is equipped with a basketball hoop for skill based sessions
  • Review the court and cancellation policies prior to reserving your court time.

Hours

Meadow Park Sports Centre is open from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily, except for certain holidays. View changes to regular facility hours.  Entry is for MPSC passholders by reservation only.

General court policies

  • The total number of players permitted during a single court booking (45 minutes) is limited to 4 per court; a max of 2 adults and up to 2 additional children/youth (18 years and under) are permitted.  All players must be from the same household, no exceptions.
  • Users must be 13 years or older to book the court on their own.  Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 16+) to ensure COVID-19 safety protocols are followed whilst in the facility.
  • Round robin play in not permitted
  • Each player must have their own personal equipment
  • Users are asked to arrive dressed ready to play, with their non-marking court shoes in hand, no sooner than 5 minutes prior to their scheduled court time
  • All players must wear clean, non-marking shoes. To keep court floors in good playing condition, no street shoes or outside shoes may be worn on court at any time
  • Change rooms and lockers are currently unavailable. Please only bring essential items as there will be limited storage options available
  • Courts are for approved uses only
  • Food or beverages are to be consumed outside of the courts at all times
  • Wiping of sweat from hands or forearms on any court wall is strictly prohibited. Players may choose to have a small personal hand towel in the court with them
  • Players are reminded to cough and sneeze into a tissue or to lift one’s shirt/collar over their mouth and nose, to cough or sneeze under one’s shirt
  • Contact is not permitted. Players must forgo traditional contact with other players including high fives and hand shakes
  • Wear a mask whenever you are not engaged in physical activity

Squash specific procedures:

  • Max 2 adult players per court; no round-robin play
  • Each player must have their own equipment (racquet, ball and protective eyewear)
  • Players must warm-up, serve with and touch only their own ball. After a point is played, the player who’s ball is in use will retrieve their ball and put it in their pocket, while their opponent prepares to serve with their own ball
  • Protective eyewear must be worn at all times on the court; a full-face shield can also be used if preferred. Protective eyewear is available for purchase or rent at the front desk

Basketball specific procedures:

  • Each player must have their own basketball; sharing is not permitted
  • Court time should be skill based; formal game play and player contact is not permitted

Equipment rentals:

  • We encourage players to utilize their own personal equipment (racquets, balls and protective eyewear)
  • If you do not own equipment, players will have the option to rent a sanitized racquet and safety goggles, but balls are for purchase only
  • You will be required to sanitize the racquet and squash goggles prior to returning them to the front desk
  • Collateral is required for all equipment that is borrowed or rented. Government issued photo identification is preferred

Reservations are currently limited to MPSC passholders and members from the same household only. Drop-in access is not available at this time. 


Passholders who need to gain access to their online account can do so by calling 604-935-PLAY (7529) during operating hours or by emailing recreation@whistler.ca.​

  • Each person using the court must pay admission to the facility
  • Play time is 45 minutes, with fixed start times. First court reservation is at 6:15 a.m. and last court reservation is 7:45 p.m. for exit from building at 8:30 p.m.
  • Only one court time is permitted per person, regardless of admission or pass type, on Tuesday and Friday nights after 6 p.m.

Court cancellation policy

12-hour cancellation policy in effect

Reservations can be cancelled without penalty, up to 12-hours before your timeslot by emailing recreation@whistler.ca or calling 604-935-PLAY (7529) and leaving a message.

**Please note that you cannot cancel bookings online**

No-shows or cancellations within 12 hours: You will be charged for your missed visit.

  • Playtime Cards: A punch will be taken off of your pass (as if you had visited the facility)
  • Active Member Passes: Annual and monthly pass holders will be charged a $6 cancellation fee (equivalent to 1 visit of a 30x card)  
  • Passes will be frozen until all fees are collected.
  • ​Guests who repeatedly no-show or cancel inside of 12 hours could lose their booking privileges and temporary access to the facility.

Illness: Guests who cancel due to illness will not be charged a cancellation fee, but for precautionary reasons, all upcoming bookings will be cancelled and your account/membership will be frozen for 14 days

The person booking the court is responsible for the cancellation charges.

Game play

Squash game play and cohort planning is currently on-hold due to the current B.C. Public Health Order (PHO) suspending all indoor and outdoor sport for people 19 years of age or older.

The RMOW is working towards adopting a cohort model for squash and basketball, to allow up to 50 participants/activity to engage in game play. This model is still being developed by recreation staff. Participants are asked to stay tuned to this space for further updates. 

Rates and passes

Active Member Passes (1 Month, 3 Month, 6 Month, Annual) and Playtime Cards (10x, 20x and 30x)

  • Pass and card holders are entitled to play 1 court time per day. 
  • If a pass/playtime card is used for the first court time, additional court times may be booked by paying the upgrade fee per additional court time up to a maximum of 3 court times per day.
  • Courts may be reserved up to 3 days (72 hours) in advance. Your full name and payment is required at the time of booking.

Drop-Ins and All Day (current facility admission pricing) 

This option is currently unavailable

  • Admission rate includes one court time per day.
  • 50% off of the regular admission rate and racquet rentals is applicable on Tuesday and Friday after 6 p.m.
  • If players would like to play more than one court time per day, they may pay the upgrade fee for each additional court time up to a maximum of 3 court times per day.
  • Courts may be reserved up to 3 days (72 hours) in advance. 

Court upgrades

Must have a valid admission product to purchase.

  • Must be purchased in conjunction with an admission product.
  • A Court Upgrade entitles you to play one additional court time per day except on Tuesday and Friday after 6 p.m.
  • Additional court times cannot be pre-booked and is subject to availability upon arrival 
  • Courts may be reserved up to 3 days (72 hours) in advance. Your full name and payment is required at the time of booking.
