Non-Exclusive Use Permits
Non-exclusive Use Permits (NEUPs) are for organizations hosting camps, clinics, and tours that operate out of Whistler parks or on trails, such as mountain bike races and triathlons. Permit fees collected are used to maintain trails and facilities.
Exclusions to NEUP Requirements
- Events held on lands outside of RMOW jurisdiction, such as Whistler Blackcomb. Users should contact respective land managers to request permission.
- Trails managed by WORCA, Alpine Club of Canada (Whistler chapter), 99Trails, the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, and BC Parks.
- Groups that use municipal sports fields, courts, and the skateboard park. Please email the Outdoor Facilities Coordinator at outdoorfacilities@whistler.ca for details.
Permit holders are expected to follow the Code of Conduct and ensure group leaders can be identified by wearing a uniform, logo, or name tag. Permits for annual events must be renewed each year.
