Transit service to Nordic unavailable October 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Due to paving in the Nordic subdivision, buses on routes 20 and 21 will bypass Nordic and travel Highway.
FortisBC asks customers to conserve natural gas following pipeline incident - turn down gas thermostats and reduce non-essential natural gas use.
Smoke visible from controlled burning - Do not report smoke from fuel thinning work on Callaghan Road, in the Wedge area and Alpine Meadows.
Trail closures - Skywalk, Kevin’s Homerun, Screaming Cat Lake and Upper 19 Mile Creek trails closed. Grizzly bear in the area.
Expect traffic changes in Creekside October 9 to 20 - Highway 99 maintenance will affect access to Lake Placid Road and from Taylor Way.
Highway 99 - Temporary lane closures on Highway 99 and a full closure of the Millar Creek Trail will occur until November for FortisBC works.
