Canoe, kayak and stand-up paddleboard storage rentals

During summer months residents can rent season-long canoe, kayak and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) storage rack space at a number of Whistler parks.

Due to high demand, the RMOW installed additional SUP rack spaces in 2021. Racks are available for the season at the following locations:

  •  Alpha Lake Park
  •  Alta Lake North House
  •  Alta Lake South House
  •  Blueberry Park
  • Green Lake Boat Launch
  • Green Lake Park
  • Green Lake Spit
  • Lakeside Park
  • Lost Lake Park
  • Pine Point Park
  • Rainbow Park (2024 access to the rack area will be available with limited water access and limited drop-off zone vehicle access until peak summer. Please obey construction signage as access routes will vary. From July there will be unlimited access, the exact date will be weather-dependent.)
  • Wayside Park

Reserve storage rack space for summer 2024

The Parks department has installed additional racks in more waterfront parks in recent years bringing the total number of canoe, kayak and SUP spaces in all locations to over 200. Residents can rent canoe, kayak and SUP storage rack space for the season by booking online. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis and storage spaces typically sell out quickly.
