Enjoy five exciting watch‑party events woven into the vibrant summer lineup at Olympic Plaza, complementing Canada Day Celebrations, the Whistler Summer Concert Series, Village Animation, and Movies at the Plaza. Watch party dates: July 4, 7, 11, 18, and 19.

Kickoff: 2 p.m.   

Teams: Quarter-finals W91 vs. W92   

Host city: Miami   

Whistler venue hours: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.  

One match will be shown on this date. Additional viewing options are available at venues throughout Whistler.

Is there accessible viewing available?  

Yes. Accessible viewing areas will be available at Whistler Olympic Plaza.  

How can I get to the event without driving?  

There are several convenient transportation options:  
• Whistler Transit serves Olympic Plaza and surrounding areas.  
• Evo Bike Share is available at Olympic Plaza.  
• The Free Whistler Bike Valet will safely store your bike, e‑bike, or cargo trailer during the event.  

Are there washrooms on site?  

Yes. Public washrooms, including accessible facilities, are available at Whistler Olympic Plaza.  

Can I bring my own water?  

Yes. Please bring your reusable water bottles. A public water fill station is located near the playground.  

Can I bring my own food?  

Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks or pick up take‑out from nearby Village restaurants. Food trucks will also be on site.  

Is seating provided?  

No. Please bring your own blankets or low‑profile lawn chairs. Space is first‑come, first‑served.  

Are umbrellas or tents allowed on the lawn?  

No. Umbrellas and tents are not permitted, as they block sightlines and create safety concerns.  

Are drones allowed?  

No. Drones are not permitted anywhere in Whistler Village.  

Is smoking or vaping allowed?  

No. This is a smoke‑free and vape‑free event.  

Can I bring my dog?  

Yes. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leash at all times.  

Will the games be shown if it rains?  

Yes. The watch parties take place rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.  

Is alcohol allowed at the event?  

No. This is an alcohol‑free event.  

Is this event suitable for all ages?  

Yes. This is an all‑ages community viewing party.  
If you prefer to watch in a licensed venue, there are many options throughout Whistler Village.  

Activities and on‑site experience  

Will there be activities?  

Yes. Each watch party will feature rotating soccer‑related activities, including programming hosted by the Whistler Youth Soccer Club.  

Will there be waste collection?  

Yes. AWARE Zero Waste Heroes will be on site to help with waste sorting and ensure the event stays clean and sustainable.  

Can I kick a soccer ball around on the Great Lawn?  

No. For safety reasons and to maintain a comfortable viewing experience, ball play is not permitted on the lawn at anytime.  

What items are prohibited

• Drones  

Will there be security on-site?  

Yes, there will be on-site security personnel to support a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.
