Village Host Program

Part of what makes Whistler Village so appealing is its friendly Village Host volunteers.

Village Host is an ongoing year round program.  Volunteers provide quick answers, helpful directions and impart a fun and friendly experience to people visiting our home town.  Village Hosts volunteer in the information kiosks located near Village Square and Whistler Olympic Plaza. They can also be found walking the Village Stroll providing assistance and seeking out visitors requiring help and direction.

The long-term vision of The Village Host Program is to lead by example, demonstrating that every resident has the ability to be a friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious representative of Whistler.

Who Volunteers?

Local community members of all ages and backgrounds volunteer as Village Hosts. Volunteers are friendly, outgoing, and caring and most importantly, are knowledgeable and passionate about Whistler.

Apply to the Village Host Program

We ask that Village Hosts volunteer for up to 20 shifts each season.  The summer season runs from June to November and the winter season runs from December to May.

If you have a passion for Whistler, a positive outlook,  a sound knowledge of Whistler’s services and the willingness to learn even more, we invite to join us for a season of fun!
