Welcome to the new look for Council meeting documents and videos. All of the information you need is now in one place.
Calendar and list formatted displays offer two choices to find a specific meeting date. You can also filter by meeting type by clicking on the appropriate button below.
Use the new search feature to look up a topic and/or meeting by selecting “Filter by Date” and/or “Filter By Meeting Type.” At the start of each search, remember to clear your previous filter setting(s).
Simply navigate to a meeting to:
- watch the live stream for a meeting in session, or view a video of a past meeting;
- view a PDF of the Agenda Cover Page (previously called ‘agenda’); or
- view an HTML file for the full Agenda (previously called ‘package’), with links to staff reports other meeting documents.
Council meeting agendas (cover page and agenda package)
The Council meeting agenda cover and full agenda package are published online on the Friday prior to a scheduled Council meeting. If agendas for upcoming meetings are not yet available, you will see the message “There are no upcoming meetings” below.
Council meeting agenda cover pages are also available:
- On the bulletin boards outside of the Municipal Hall;
- At Council meetings (when held in person at MYAC); and
- By request at Municipal Hall at no charge.
Full agenda packages are available by request at Municipal Hall. There is a charge per page, and the cost will vary depending on the size of the package.
Council meeting minutes
Council meeting minutes are the official record of the Council meeting. Minutes for past meetings will be published following the meeting at which they are adopted by Council. They are available:
- online; and
- at Municipal Hall.
Watch Council meetings live
Navigate to the meeting, and click on the 'view live stream' link. The link will appear when the meeting is in session.
The recorded video is accessible immediately following the meeting. Videos can be accessed in an interactive format that cues the footage to relevant content in the agenda and minutes.
While Council meetings are being held virtually due to COVID-19 physical distancing, you are invited to join the meeting via Zoom using the link below.
Public question and answer period during COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Council meetings will be held electronically via video conferencing and the live stream is accessible via the links above.
New: Members of the public can join the Regular Council Meeting via Zoom Webinar using a computer, tablet or smartphone, or dial in from your phone. Anyone wishing to ask a question to Council will be able to do so virtually during the public question and answer period on the agenda. Your image will not be broadcast, but you will be required to state your name and address for the public record. By participating in the question and answer period, you are consenting to the collection and use of your personal information, including your name, address and voice that will become part of the official recording of the meeting. This is authorised by s 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Any member of the public who does not wish to ask a question at the Meeting may submit a question by email to corporate@whistler.ca no later than 4 p.m. on the day of the Council meeting. Your full name and address must be included. Council's response to your question can be viewed via the live stream.
