With the Whistler BMX track no longer in operation, the RMOW began reworking half of the dirt jumps into a more widely used bike park with jumps, berms and rollers for a broader user group. A remaining unused portion of asphalt will be repurposed to be used for a modest Skateboard skills area including a minipipe. Work will resume this spring and summer as the weather improves.  

Rotary Plaza  

The RMOW has been working with the Rotary Club of Whistler in developing the Bike Park Plaza. The new plaza is now complete with picnic tables, benches, a bike repair station, landscaping and irrigation. This project has been funded entirely by the Whistler Rotary Club including a generous donation from Doug and Mary Forseth.
