Skating at Whistler Olympic Plaza 

Fun outdoor skating from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily through the winter. 

  • Please note that opening is dependent on weather and conditions. 
  • The ice is closed from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.to 6 p.m. for maintenance and grooming. 

Lost Lake Nordic Trails 

Lost Lake includes 25 km of cross country ski trails and 15 km of snowshoe trails for all levels with views of Whistler and Blackcomb. 

  • Opening based on conditions. 
  • Season is mid-December to late March, as conditions allow. 
  • Rentals and lessons available through Whistler Cross Country Connection
  • Season and day passes available. 

Festive fun 

Explore the thousands of festive lights and displays, stumble upon a local musician performing outdoors or take the best holiday photo in front of our many festive photo ops. 

  • 350,000 LED bulbs light up Whistler Village from December through March. 
  • Seek out the giant woodland creatures at Rebagliati Park and Florence Petersen Park. 
  • Whistler Olympic Plaza includes a snow play zone as conditions allow. Bring your own sled.
