Summer and Winter series are displayed for two seasons and then offered to the public for purchase.

2026 and 2027 Summer Banner Series: Artist Selected

We’re excited to announce Liz Dumontet as the selected artist for the 2026 and 2027 Spring and Summer Lamppost Banner Series with her submission: Currents and Routes.

Liz’s eight-banner series features four iconic Pacific Northwest animals, each symbolizing themes of resilience, connection, guidance and perspective. Brought to life through bold colours and layered design, the banners celebrate the deep connections between land, water, wildlife and community that define this region.

We look forward to sharing her final banner designs with you next week.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the 67 artists who submitted proposals, making this the largest response the program has received to date.
