Through the Lamppost Banner Program, artists create unique banners for the lampposts throughout Whistler Village, Creekside and Meadow Park.
Summer and Winter series are displayed for two seasons and then offered to the public for purchase.

2025 and 2026 Winter Banner Series has been selected

The Resort Municipality of Whistler is pleased to announce Pam Staples as the selected artist for the 2025/26 Fall/Winter Lamppost Banner Series with her striking submission, Nature. Reflection. Belonging.
Pam explains: “This banner series captures the quiet beauty and deep sense of place that defines Whistler. Each design is created to inspire a sense of belonging—for residents who call this place home and for those who return seeking that same feeling.”
Her eight-banner series will be displayed throughout Whistler from October 2025 to May 2026, and again from October 2026 to May 2027, adding warmth, colour, and a sense of connection to the winter streetscape.
Thank you to all the artists who submitted their work. We were thrilled to receive 40 proposals this year, making this our most participated Call for Artists to date!
