Whistler was the Host Mountain Resort of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Olympic Rings are a symbol of the Olympic Movement and include five circles of equal dimensions and represent the union of the world’s continents.
The interlocking nature of the rings signifies the coming together of athletes from all corners of the globe in the spirit of friendly competition and sportsmanship. Medals earned at Whistler venues were awarded here in Olympic Plaza.
