In addition to the original art created for the Bridge Banner Project (#125), the municipality has commissioned paintings for other purposes, such as a bear painting used as the design for the municipality’s ceremonial gift.

In support of the concept of the library as a community and cultural hub, the municipal collection was moved to the Whistler Public Library from the original site of the Municipal Hall. The bear in the plaza references Whistler’s Bear Smart designation. Find the rest of the collection inside the library.
