Sensory Wall

The artist created a unique, textured wall that would appeal to young children, drawing them in to see, touch and hear the features of the wall.

This piece represents Whistler and Blackcomb mountains which are shown capped with smooth white stones. In between the mountains are the musical bumps (peaks with instrument names: Piccolo, Flute, and Oboe) and represented by chimes. The bases are embedded with colourful leaf ceramics that were created during a community workshop.
