This totem pole was carved during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games here at the Whistler Olympic Park at Carver’s Corner, a spot that was visible to every spectator on their way to one of the venues. The totem  was raised in the summer of 2010, accompanied by a drum service and blessing for it to watch over the Day Lodge and Park—to keep them safe forever.

Whistler Olympic Park hosted biathlon, cross-country skiing, and ski jumping during the 2010 Games.
