Please note that amenities at Meadow Park Sports Centre (MPSC) may have their own guidelines and posted rules and Code of Conduct. Staff are happy to help if you have any questions.

Reservations 

Please note that reservations are not required for the Fitness Centre (weight, cardio and stretching rooms), swimming pool and hot spots (hot tub, steam room, sauna), or public skating. 

A reservation/registration is required for drop-in hockey, Stick and Puck sessions, Fitness Studio classes, swimming lessons, squash/basketball courts. 

Reservations for the following activities can be booked 72 hours in advance with a MyRecreation account: 

  • Squash/basketball courts 
  • Drop-in hockey 
  • Adult sport nights 
  • Pedal wheelchair rentals 
  • Fitness classes included in pass pricing

12-hour cancellation policy 

Reservations can be cancelled without penalty, up to 12-hours before your timeslot by emailing recreation@whistler.ca or calling 604-935-PLAY (7529) and leaving a message. 

**Please note that you cannot cancel bookings online** 

No-shows or cancellations within 12 hours will be charged for a missed visit: 

  • Drop-in admissions will not be refunded
  • 10/20/30 Time Passes: A punch will be taken off  your pass as if you had visited the facility 
  • Annual and monthly pass holders will be charged a $6.50 cancellation fee (equivalent to 1 punch off a 30x card) 
  • Passes will be frozen until all fees are collected 
  • Guests who repeatedly no-show or cancel inside of 12 hours could lose their booking privileges and temporary access to the facility 

Illness: Guests who cancel due to illness will not be charged a cancellation fee, but for precautionary reasons, all upcoming bookings will be cancelled as long as symptoms persist.

  • Practice good hand hygiene 
  • Respect personal space; consider other people’s situations and different comfort levels 
  • Follow all guidelines and abide by the posted Code of Conduct

Accessibility features 

  • 5 accessible parking stalls 
  • Elevator access to fitness centre and weight room 
  • Access to pool area which includes a lift into the lap pool and an aquatic wheelchair to access the zero depth-entry leisure pool 
  • Universal changeroom facilities 
  • Accessible changeroom and shower space with a shower seat and adjustable height change table 
  • Accessible viewing of rink/arena 
  • We provide free access to support attendants who assist persons with disabilities. We define support as assistance of a physical, psychological, emotional, intellectual, or sensory nature to ensure that a patron with a disability is able to participate. 
  • More specific accessibility features are listed on the pages for those activities (pool, arena, fitness centre, group fitness centre, etc.) 
  • Please note that pets are not permitted in our facility as per the BC Health Act, but service dogs with a vest and supporting documents are permitted. Service dogs are permitted on the pool deck but not allowed in the water. (This accommodation does not include emotional support dogs.)
