Nestled in a quiet forest at the base of Rainbow Mountain, the Whistler Cemetery has been a sanctuary for peace and remembrance since 1996.

The Whistler Cemetery offers several ways to remember and visit with loved ones, including burial plots, cremation burial plots, columbarium niches to hold cremation urns, and a scattering garden.

Lasting tributes are also available, including tribute benches, bike racks and other memorials throughout the resort.

Location and hours of service

The Whistler Cemetary is located on the west side of Alta Lake Road, approximately 100 metres south of the Rainbow Falls trailhead and parking area and 800 metres north of Rainbow Park. View the cemetery location on Google Maps.

Memorial markers for Scattering Garden Memorial Rocks can be purchased through and engraved by the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
