This project was commissioned by the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort. As part of an extensive redevelopment of the mountain side landscape, the hotel and their landscape architect Tom Barratt, created this garden.

A public art competition was held and The Garden & the Wilderness proposal was selected. The project incorporates garden elements and plays with scale and whimsy in creating a place between the mountain and Whistler’s chateau-style hotel.
