Whistler Presents: new year's eve

Spend the evening with your family exploring all three ticketed NYE venues in Whistler. The whole family will be engaged by the entertainment and delighted by the activities at each location. Be sure to visit each one.

Tickets are available online from December 1, as well as at the Whistler Visitor Information Centre, Millennium Place and Meadow Park Sports Centre.

Wristband Price: $15 for adults and children 13 years and older, $10 for children ages 12 and under, free for children ages 2 and under.

Purchases on December 31: $20 for adults and children 13 years and older, $10 for children ages 12 and under, free for children ages 2 and under.

*Please note: You are not required to purchase a ticket to simply access Whistler Village on New Year's Eve. Tickets are only required to enter the official Whistler Presents: New Year's Eve venues.

Whistler Olympic Plaza

Your family will enjoy this special stop on your NYE adventure. Free use of skates with your NYE wristband. Cheese! Box photo booth will be on site to capture the smiles, our wandering magician will keep you warm with endless laughs and Paintertainment skaters will fill your dance card on the ice. Don't forget to grab your NYE party hats and horns here.

Millennium Place

Expect nothing short of dazzlement with the explosion of creative arts and crafts, face painting, dress-up story telling and arcade games — all in the name of family fun!

All three levels of Millennium Place will come alive with entertainment, live music and two early kids' countdowns.

Whistler Conference Centre

Activites and entertainment for all ages: bouncy castles, Much Music Teen Dance Party, craft zone and a variety of performances throughout the evening!

Teen Dance at the Whistler Conference Centre

The Much Music Dance Party comes to town with wicked sound, killer lighting and the hottest new and old school videos for youth’s ages 13 to 18 years old.

Fire & Ice Show + Fireworks at Skiers Plaza

The countdown to midnight begins with a special Fire & Ice Show at the base of Whistler Mountain. Watch the amazing skiers and snowboarders jump and spin through two hiant rings of fire, followed by a dazzling fireworks display to ring in 2015.

This portion of the evening is free for everyone. Please remember that all these NYE venues are all-ages and alcohol free so there will be a police presence and security will be conducting bag checks.

Whistler Transit

Leave the car at home and take advantage of the free and extended Whistler Transit Service on New Year’s Eve.

  • January 1, midnight to 4 a.m.
