Whistler Bylaws & Regulations

Bylaws are adopted by Council during public council meetings, and are enforced by the municipality's bylaw services department. Bylaws cover zoning and land use, signs, noise, vehicle parking and idling, licensing, user fees, and property taxation.

The legislative services department of the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) maintains the municipal bylaws.

See the most frequently requested bylaws listed below.

You may request bylaw information at the front reception of municipal hall, 4325 Blackcomb Way, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or via email.
