Overview

As part of a multi-phase project to allow for expansion of the RCMP footprint, an additional level has been installed to the Municipal Hall Annex. This project consists of four additional modular building units, a new bridge connection between the Annex and the existing Municipal Hall, and new exterior stairs to Municipal Hall.

What to expect during construction

During the construction there will be impacts to pedestrian access and car parking around the Municipal Hall. Detour signage will be in place directing pedestrians to the south end of Municipal Hall.

A temporary accessible route has been installed providing access to Municipal Hall from the carpark. The accessible parking stall has also been relocated within the carpark.

Expect construction equipment noise throughout the project.

Major disruptions will be communicated as construction progresses through the affected area.
