Impacts
The RMOW has reached out to the shop owners and the building Strata to give them a heads up.
Emergency access / fire lane
It is not expected that the works will disrupt emergency access or fire lanes. During the project, all fire lanes and emergency access will be kept open and during the working day the site could be cleared to help with any emergency access requirements if needed.
Fencing and Screening
The installation of the fence will include necessary temporary fencing to secure the site during construction. This will be moduloc or similar style.
Pedestrian and Vehicle Access
There are minimal disruptions expected to pedestrian access to the site. If sidewalks or access routes need to be temporarily disrupted, there will be signage and appropriate safety cones or similar to flag the area that is closed.
During removal of the roof beams, access to the breezeway will be disrupted but this will be managed on site by the construction crew members. Including for this portion of the works we will have adequate signage out highlighting alternative access routes for the public.
