We offer a safe environment for children to expand their horizons through our various sporting and recreation programs. For the past 18 years, the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) has been providing a nurturing, stimulating and challenging environment for the afterschool program known as Kids on the Go.

Maximum 24 participants
$19 per day for afterschool 2:33pm to 6:00pm
$50 per day for full day programming 8:30am to 5:30pm
Kids on the Go Senior (Grade 2 to Grade 7)
Maximum 30 participants
$17 per day for afterschool 2:33pm to 6:00pm
$50 per day for full day programming 8:30am to 5:30pm
Both programs include a healthy snack option and pick up services provided for children attending Spring Creek Elementary and Ecole La Passerelle
How to Register
Registration for the upcoming school year will open on Sunday August 20th, 2017 at Meadow Park Sport Centre. The doors open at 6 a.m. and you can arrive to take a number. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. New this year you will be able to register for the entire school year as of August 20th.
If your child is attending our program for the first time please first fill in and submit the online registration form found in the link below:
Once you have submitted the form please then contact the office at 604-935-8370 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm which days you would like to attend.
We are licensed program and therefore require registration forms to be filled in as well as a copy of your child's immunization records prior to having your child attend our programs.
We also have emergency consent cards in our office that must be filled out prior to your child attending. These cards have important contact information of your children and are taken with us whenever we leave the building.

Cancelation and Refund Policy
The cancelation and refund policy was changed on January 1, 2016. This change allows Kids on the Go program leader’s adequate time to inform families on the waitlist when there is a cancelation, giving more children the opportunity to take part.
Caregivers who wish to change their child’s days of enrollment or to withdraw from the program are asked to give written notice a calendar month in advance to email@example.com. For example, changes for the month of November must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than September 30. Changes made less than one calendar month in advance are not eligible for refunds. "Switching or swapping" is still considered a cancelation and therefore days does not allow for a refund. Additionally "trading" days with other families is not permitted.
Kids on the Go has a long waitlist and we appreciate your help offering programming to as many children as possible.

The program leaders support children in a variety of activities including outdoor play, day trips, gym time, cooking, games, crafts, and quiet play. Children will be given the opportunity to offer their input into the program and help plan activities and events.

2016 Tax Receipts
Official tax receipts for the Kids On The Go program are now ready for pick up. Leader In Training Program (LIT)
The RMOW has launched an exciting program at Kids on the Go called “Leader In Training”, which was developed to help keep older children (eights years of age and older) who are in the afterschool club engaged and excited in the Kids on the Go program. This program will run every Monday and Wednesday afterschool.
Some exciting projects will include, developing card carrying members and a social contract, a newsletter that will go out every month, planning the daily activities and snack schedule, decorating and taking over a “club house” to call their own at Myrtle Phillip, working towards fundraising projects for families in need, and developing a picture book for preschool friends.
The goal of the program is to keep the momentum growing and potentially develop this into a club of its own that is specifically geared to that elusive age group who might be a bit tired of the Kids on the Go routines but who are not quite ready to be left on their own at home yet.
