The 2025 Application Period for the Whistler Public Library Board of Trustees has now closed

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a resident or non-resident property owner of the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
  • Must not be an employee of the Resort Municipality of Whistler. 
  • Must not be an employee of the Whistler Public Library. 

Board Guidelines

  • The Board consists of eleven Trustees. Ten are appointed from the community and one member from the RMOW Council.
  • The Board selects a Chair and Vice Chair at its first meeting in each year.
  • The Board must meet at regular intervals at least six times a year.
  • Meetings are generally held on the first Wednesday of each month, except August, from 5 to 7 p.m.
