The RMOW operates two waste depots to collect recycling, compost, yard waste and landfill waste.
The depots are for single-family residents and residential complexes of less than 12 units that pay the annual Operation Fee. All materials are accepted free of charge.
Commercial operators are required to bring waste to the Whistler Waste Transfer Station and pay applicable tipping fees.
No wheels? No worries. Residents can bring recycling, compost and landfill waste on the bus to bring them to the waste depots. Just follow a few simple rules.

- Liquid waste: A sanitation dump is available at the Function Junction depot for RV users to properly dispose of their liquid waste.
