The Whistler Transportation Action Plan is informed by research and monitoring led by the Transportation Advisory Group, as well as valuable input from the residents and visitors who use transportation in Whistler.

Before the development of this plan, the Short-Term Action Plan (2017) and the Medium-Term Action Plan (2018–19) were developed and approved by Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) Council.
